Participate in an Audio Recording Education Study

Michael Janas, Audio Instructor in the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business at Belmont University, is conducting a research study in audio education.

The purpose of this research study is to compare the learning retention of new audio students when learning analog and digital audio recording equipment. Participants will be asked to practice and then perform a basic audio task twice, once each day, and to complete a brief survey on the second day.

To be eligible for the study you must be a Belmont University undergraduate between the ages of 18-25 with no significant experience in operating audio recording or sound reinforcement equipment or computer audio software (Pro Tools, Logic, etc).  Participants must also have good hearing health.

Participation is voluntary.  Each participant will need to be available for up to 60 minutes each day on March 30-31, 2012.  The study will take place at the Curb College building at 34 Music Square East, Nashville, TN 37203.

Benefits include a $15 iTunes gift card for each study participant.
