SOLID’s (Society of Leadership in Development) Fall 2017 Mentorship Program is now accepting applications. SOLID members, a collection of dynamic personalities representing all facets and levels of the music industry, will be strategically matched with university students looking to gain insight into different areas of the music business as mentors.
The SOLID mentorship program is an opportunity to connect one-on-one with an industry professional over the course of the Fall Semester. Those who sign up are committing to meet with your assigned mentor a minimum of two times between September 7th – December 15th. Students outside of the greater Nashville area may also apply to the program for distance-related mentorship.
As a part of the program, you are also invited and encouraged to come to the exclusive Mentorship Program Kick-Off event on the evening of September 7th. Please save the date. Notification of acceptance into the program and event details will be emailed out August 27th.
Interested participants must be Senior or a Junior currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, have completed a minimum of one internship (Summer/Fall 2017 internships count), and send a letter of recommendation from either your internship manager or a current or former professor to soliduniversityoutreach@gmail.com with your name and “Fall 2017 Mentorship Program Recommendation” in the subject line. Applications are being accepted now through August 25th. Accepted participants will be notified via email on August 27th. There is no guarantee of acceptance into this program.
