We are looking for a motivated individual to assist in all aspects of operating and maintaining a recording studio. The individual must be prompt, proactive, organized, friendly and flexible.
PERFORMANCE TASKS: During this internship, the student will… (list of tasks, responsibilities and potential projects):
During this internship, the student will learn how to operate and maintain a professional recording studio. Responsibilities include set up/tear down for all sessions, maintain cleanliness of studio facilities, organize/backup client files, prepare sessions for publisher/label delivery, etc.
INTERNSHIP OUTCOMES: At the end of this internship, the student will be able to… (list of learning objectives): At the end of this internship, the student will be able to understand the operating and maintenance procedures of a professional recording studio, understand the workflow and etiquette of a professional recording session, and understand the responsibilities of being a full-time assistant engineer.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Internship begins at 10 AM on non-tracking days and typically ends at 5 PM. For tracking days with 10 AM sessions, interns must arrive at 8 AM for set-up.
