The Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam is now accepting submissions for the Pepsi Southern Original.
24 Finalists Will Compete For A Live Audience.
6 Top Finalists Will Get 1 Hour Acoustic Performances & Free Lodging in Panama City Beach, FL.
To Enter:
Choose ONE of the two venues to compete for:
Salty Goat Saloon in Panama City Beach, FL — Wednesday July 20th @ 9 PM
Cowboy Saloon in Dothan, AL — Friday July 22nd @ 9 PM
Send a maximum of 2 songs to bands@gulfcoastjam.com. Music should be in the style of country or southern rock. Unsigned artists only. Audio or video filers are acceptable.
Submissions are due by July 10th.
Submissions will be reviewed and 24 total Semi-Finalists will be announced July 15th (12 Semi-Finalists for each venue.)
Semi-Finalists will perform 2 songs, 1 original and 1 cover, to compete at the venue in front of an audience.
The Top 6 Finalists (3 from each venue) will win free lodging in Panama City Beach, FL over Labor Day Weekend where they will perform a 1-hour acoustic set at Edgewater Beach Resort.
The Top 6 Finalists will compete for the title of Pepsi Southern Original on Thursday September 1st on the Florida Lottery Stage on the Festival Grounds in Frank Brown Park, Panama City Beach, FL.
One winner will perform on the main stage at Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam on Sunday September 4th, opening for Sunday’s lineup headlined by Eric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Winners will be voted upon by Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady, Chief Operating Officer Mark Sheldon, the partnering radio stations at each venue, and the audience. They will be judged on originality, stage presence, and music quality.”
