CASTING FOR NEW TV SHOW IN THE NASHVILLE AREA
PROJECT: Television Show – “Still the King” Extras – Local Talent
SHOOT DATES: Starts October 5, 2015 and goes through January, 2016
Early next year (2016), CMT will debut:
“Still The King” (timing TBD) – Starring Billy Ray Cyrus, the scripted comedy features Cyrus as Vernon Brown, AKA “Burnin’ Vernon,” a scandal-ridden washed up one-hit wonder who is kicked out of country music, only to emerge 20 years later as the second best Elvis impersonator in Laughlin, Nevada. After crashing into an old country church outside of Nashville during a drunken bender, he is sentenced to return and perform community service. Along the way, he pretends to be the congregation’s new minister and discovers he has a 15-year-old daughter he’s never met. “Still The King” is produced by HIDEOUT PICTURES with Billy Ray Cyrus serving as executive producer and writer.
· EXTRAS CASTING SPECS – BACKGROUND EXTRAS
Needing actors – A Southern small town community will be represented in this scripted comedy. We are looking for all types, all ethnicities (Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, etc.…) male & female, ages 18 and up.
RATE: Extra – $64.00 a day for 8 hrs.- Additional time will include additional fee. Could go from 8 to 12 hours.
PLEASE SEND your age with current photos (prefer current digitals) (1) Head and shoulders, as well as a
(1) full length to be considered to work on the show. We will not accept photos with sunglasses or anything covering the face. We want natural digital photos of yourself. The background of the photo should be white or any other solid color. Your photos should have you fully in frame. Fill out the casting sheet attached and submit. List any special skills under comments at the bottom of the casting sheet. (Example – Horseback riding, bartender, sports, etc..)
