What do I really need?

1) A KILLER RESUME
 This resume should highlight all your great professional experiences, campus involvement, community service, collegiate awards, basically it should be a one page review of your general awesomeness. Need help on your resume? Attend the November 4 Resume Skillshop.
2) A ONE-PAGE ESSAY
This essay should describe your a) career aspirations b) what experiences you have gathered or steps you’ve taken towards achieving your career goals c) how your time at Belmont has impacted your personal/professional journey. It should also be perfectly spell-checked, well written, and overall a great example of your professionalism and hard work.
3) A REFERENCE
This should be a Curb College faculty/staff member, who if called upon to talk about you, would know you well and have a glowing recommendation to share about you.

Did you hear? Miranda Lambert established a scholarship for outstanding Belmont women who are pursuing a career as a songwriter and/or recording artist. 
If that’s you, apply for this scholarship here.
You will need to speak knowledgeably about some of your female entertainment/music business heroes, creatively introduce yourself, and upload an original song you are proud of.
