PURPOSE:
Creative Connection is a program designed to connect three Belmont University juniors with key music industry companies and help them establish familiarity and meaningful relationships with four different facets of the industry – publishing, administration, publicity, and management.
HOW IT WORKS:
Three Belmont juniors will be selected as part of the program and will intern with each company for 4.5 weeks before rotating to the next. Students will work on specific projects while interning with each company. Students participating must be eligible to receive academic credit for an internship and must register for a one credit CEMB 3000 course. Participants are expected to fulfill all of the course requirements in addition to the employer expectations. Interns must be available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am – 3pm for office hours. Additional hours may be required outside of the office. Interns will not be allowed to participate in any other internships for credit during this semester.
