CALLING ALL SONGWRITERS! For the first time, the Nashville Chapter is hosting a GRAMMY U Songwriter Showdown.

All song submissions will be judged and narrowed down to the “Top eight.” Those chosen finalists will perform at Soulshine Pizza Factory on April 13 in front of a panel of high-level industry professionals.  If you have what it takes, submit your song by March 22 at midnight. Good luck!

Submissions:

The Recording Academy Education Committee will hand select the top eight songwriters to perform at this event. Submissions are now open and will close on Sunday, March 22 at midnight.

Prize: The songwriter(s) who wins the GRAMMY U Songwriter Showdown will receive a number of packages which include a one-on-one session with a top singer/songwriter in Nashville and a chance to perform one song at the annual GRAMMY Block Party.
