Well that’s what Music City Roots thrives on. We’re an acclaimed weekly radio show, nationwide public television show and webcast presenting authentic roots and Americana music to a national and international audience. And we’ do so every Wednesday evening from the Edge of Music City.

As part of our move to our new home in The Factory At Franklin, we’re offering music and music business students at Belmont a free night at our show. RSVP and we’ll give you a pre-show tour of our operation – from back stage to our video production truck to our Roots Radio station.

We’ve built a vibrant community hub for musical production and musical discovery. We feature the finest artists from or passing through Nashville in all roots traditions: country, blues, bluegrass, soul, R&B and all flavors of folk. We’ve experienced many magic nights and breakout performances from the likes of St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Pokey LaFarge, Lake Street Dive, Dom Flemons and more. We regularly feature legends of roots music like Sam Bush, Tim O’Brien, Leftover Salmon, Gretchen Peters and more.
