Be a part of PIPELINE Class of 2014 [Entertainment Industry Think Tank]

The Curb College is looking for innovative, self-driven students who have an entrepreneurial and technology-oriented skill sets with a strong understanding of emerging trends in the entertainment industry.  Any major across campus may apply.  Interested candidates, must fill out the online application.  Due to the nature of the program, students who make it past the online application will be required to participate in an extensive selection process.

Some important PIPELINE dates:

Jan. 15: Information session at 10am, Massey Business Center 103
Feb. 17:  Online applications due by 4pm
Feb. 19:  First round candidates announced
Feb. 20:  Second round candidates announced
Feb. 24-28: Third round candidates selection continues
March 10-14:  Fourth round candidates selection continues
March 17:  Pipeline Class of 2014 announced
May 31:  Campus housing move in
Pipeline Program runs from June 2nd thru August 6th

Apply on MyBelmont. Go to the Curb College community and choose “Pipeline Project” from the Applications menu. Applications are due by February 17 at 4pm!

So, what is Pipeline?  The Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business launched of the Pipeline Project to recognize and encourage the next generation of innovators in the entertainment and music industry.  The project identifies top Belmont students who are charged with developing cutting edge concepts and solutions, bringing them to life, and influencing the entertainment and music industry through their creative capital.

The Pipeline project will provide a select group of undergraduate students an opportunity to engage in an innovative project alongside faculty advisors, Nathan Adam and Drew Ramsey, and industry experts.  The student team will be devoted to open dialogue, research and analysis of industry issues over the course of the summer.  Up to nine (9) students may be eligible to receive a summer stipend and summer campus housing.
