It’s easy! Check out www.splicemusic.com and create your account (you only need an email address/no strings attached). Log in so you can remix (Instead of searching for us, go to this address: http://www.splicemusic.com/user/bucs; Click “Add bucs as a friend” to let us know you’re here!)
Create your own songs (choose our official sounds, or by searching Splice or Creative Commons databases. Some good ones are: CCMixter.org and The Free Sound Project http://freesound.iua.upf.edu
So how do I win that sound system? Enter your splice mix by tagging it “bucs contest.” Must use at least 2 official Belmont loops from the BUCS profile. Submission must be under 3 minutes. Enter as much as you like!
Contest open through April 9th. Songs will be judged on originality, creativity, and use of Belmont theme. Entries will be presented and prizes awarded at our finale in April, TBA.
