{"id":1836,"date":"2013-03-02T05:26:46","date_gmt":"2013-03-02T11:26:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/forum.belmont.edu\/health\/?p=1836"},"modified":"2013-03-03T20:19:01","modified_gmt":"2013-03-04T02:19:01","slug":"mission-to-haiti-we-have-arrived","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forum.belmont.edu\/health\/2013\/03\/02\/mission-to-haiti-we-have-arrived\/","title":{"rendered":"Mission to Haiti: We have arrived"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mission to Haiti<br \/>\nfrom Katelyn Walker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>A team of students and faculty from Belmont University School of Nursing is ministering in Haiti during Belmont&#8217;s Spring Break.\u00a0 This is the second year a team has traveled there.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/forum.belmont.edu\/health\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/KatelynWalker.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1837\" style=\"border: 1px solid black; margin: 5px 10px;\" title=\"KatelynWalker\" src=\"http:\/\/forum.belmont.edu\/health\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/KatelynWalker.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"81\" height=\"117\" \/><\/a>After some delay in Miami, we finally arrived with no problems a little after 1 p.m. \u00a0The journey to our destination was definitely an experience to say the least. \u00a0We were able to see much of Port Au Prince and many of the towns on the way to Grand Guave. \u00a0We are settled in and had a wonderful dinner with our hosts. \u00a0Tomorrow, Saturday, we are looking forward to helping out at the pharmacy and organizing meds for our upcoming days at our mobile clinics.<\/p>\n<p>P.S.
