Dell will stage a free computer recycling event for residents of Metro Nashville and surrounding counties, Saturday, Oct. 22 at Vanderbilt University. The event is part of Dell’s commitment to the Middle Tennessee community and the company’s ongoing effort to educate consumers about responsible computer recycling options.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Vanderbilt University parking lot 74, located on Natchez Trace, north of Blakemore Avenue and across from the Vanderbilt track. Dell makes it easy and affordable for customers to manage the life cycle of their computer equipment every day. For residents that cannot attend the event, information on Dell’s ongoing consumer donation and recycling options is available at www.dell.com/recycling. Nashville Children’s Theatre (NCT) is pleased to offer a special ticket discount to all Belmont Employees and Students. For each child’s ticket that is purchased, you will receive a second child’s ticket to the same performance free of charge. Simply mention that you are from Belmont when ordering your tickets. The next play is Holes By Louis Sachar, based on his award winning young adult novel, October 4-29, 2005. Most enjoyed by ages 10 and up.

IN ADDITION:
A special Holes workshop will be held at the Main branch of Nashville Public Library (on Saturday, Sept 24 at 2 pm) and at Davis-Kidd Booksellers (on Saturday, Oct 1 at 2 pm). During the workshop children will read from both the book and the script, experience characters and imagine how this story might appear onstage. The workshop is free, but space is limited and reservations are required.
