Belmont hosted two “Summer Send-Off Celebrations” for new students and parents of students living in the Memphis area and in the Nashville suburbs of Williamson County. The events gave alumni, students and parents a chance to meet President Fisher and other campus leaders, learn about current developments on campus, enjoy food and entertainment and meet other students, parents and alumni from their area.
The Memphis Send-Off Celebration was held Tuesday, August 9 at The Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis. Pictured above, many Belmont students, staff and administration traveled to Memphis to meet new students and parents. The Williamson County event was Thursday, August 11, in The Factory at Franklin.
Belmont has plans to expand the program to other cities in and outside of Tennessee where the university has a strong alumni presence or student-recruiting success in future years.
