Belmont University is among the top 20 universities in the south in its category in the U.S. News & World Report magazine’s annual ranking of America’s best colleges and universities, released today. Belmont University ranked 19th out of the 131 schools included in the South region of the “Best Universities – Masters” category. For the full story, click here.
With the start of a new school year, it is important everyone is aware of Belmont parking options for all faculty/staff, on-campus students and commuter students. Information was sent via campus e-mail on Thursday, August 19, and is also available via the dedicated parking Web site. Please note that both the off campus satellite lot and shuttle service options will be available beginning Wednesday, August 25.
All faculty and staff members are encouraged to attend President
Fisher’s annual State of the University address on Monday, August 23 at 8:00 a.m. Coffee and refreshments will be provided in the MPAC patio area beginning at 7:30 with the address following at 8 a.m. in the MPAC auditorium. All offices and departments on campus that are able are encouraged to close from 8 to 9 a.m. on Monday in order to give everyone the opportunity to attend. Please work with your supervisor if coverage is critical in your area during this period.
