A quick word about image management

Adrian has been wading through several hundred images that have been uploaded to Belmont's server over the last three years. Some of those images are re-usable and some simply need to go away. Within the design and framework for web owners is access to a library of images. The directories that you will see from your Dashboard within Hannon Hill are available for your use..and you may view images before adding them to your pages (nice, huh?)

As you acquire new images, those need to go to Adrian Constant in UMAC where they will be re-sized, edited, and uploaded for your use (and perhaps for use by the larger Belmont web owner's community). You will not be able to FTP files to the server in the traditional meaning of uploading files (particularly images)...this feature will help us to manage our image assets better and make sure that outdated images are removed/replaced in a timely manner. If for some reason an image that you send Adrian doesn't make the cut...it is not personal...you may challenge him to a water balloon duel at 20 paces to resolve any conflict (weather permitting, of course)

Note: the water balloon reference (above) is just a check to make sure you are paying attention. *smile*
