Russian Impressionism Art Exhibition Opens
Grammy-nominated Russian country/bluegrass band played at the opening of the month-long Russian Impressionism art exhibit at Belmont University's Leu Gallery. The art exhibit is part of the Belmont University Alumni Association's Fine Art Exhibition & Sale.
The Russian Impressionism exhibition features paintings by a variety of Russian artists from the mid-20th Century. The exhibition runs through Oct. 2 at the Leu Gallery. At the opening reception Sept. 4, noted fine art collector Raymond E. Johnson, founder of The Museum of Russian Art in Bloomington, Minnesota, who recognized by Art & Antiques Magazine as one of the top 100 fine art collectors in the United States, spoke about Russian Impressionist art.
