University offers new spanish classes at Cool Springs
Belmont University @ Cool Springs announces two new courses in its “Spanish As a Second Language” Program to begin May.
The Basic Level I Class, beginning on Monday, May 12, 2003 and Intermediate Level II Class beginning on Tuesday, May 13, 2003, will be taught at the Belmont University @ Cool Springs location, 117 Seaboard Lane, Suite F-170 in the Dover Center. Both classes will meet once weekly from 5:30–8:00 p.m. for 13 consecutive weeks for the convenience of students who work full-time. Classes are taught by native Spanish speakers who also are fluent in English and who have extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a second language.
“These courses are designed to provide essential vocabulary and practical conversational Spanish for everyday communication in social and work environments,” said Jodi Glover, Director of the Cool Springs @Belmont University location. “The program is very popular with people in business who have Spanish-speaking customers or employees.”
Classes range from 10-15 students who work in small groups allowing individual attention by instructors. Tuition for each class is $345 with an additional $20 for a workbook covering both Level I and Level II.
