Bridgestone/Firestone Funds Public Affairs Scholarship

Nashville-based Bridgestone/Firestone has established a new Bridgestone/Firestone Public Affairs Scholarship at Belmont University, a $2,500 scholarship to be awarded annually eacj fall to the public affairs student who demonstrates academic excellence, campus service, and professionalism. The recipient, a full-time junior or senior, will be selected through With an open, competitive application process by the Media Studies Department Chair and the Public Relations Program Director in consultation with officials at Bridgestone/Firestone, based on academic criteria, internship experience, references, participation in career-building activities and demonstrated professionalism in the classroom, campus, and community.
