Summer Commencement Largest Ever at Belmont
Belmont University will mark its largest-ever summer commencement with the graduation of 182 undergraduate and graduate students on Friday, August 12. Summer Commencement, at Curb Event Center on the Belmont campus, begins at 7:30 p.m.
The summer 2005 graduating class includes 109 students receiving graduate degrees in English, education, sport administration, physical therapy, occupational Therapy, nursing, business administration, accountancy, music and music education and 73 students receiving bachelor’s degrees. The largest numbers of graduates by major are 29 receiving the BBA in Music Business, 28 receiving the Doctor of Physical Therapy, and 21 receiving the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Belmont University President Dr. Robert Fisher will address the graduates.
