WSMV Schedules "Best of the Best" Concert Broadcast
WSMV Channel 4 in Nashville has scheduled its broadcast of Belmont University's annual Best of the Best Showcase, a concert featuring the university's top musical and songwriting talent that is often a preview of the music industry's next top artist and writers. The concert, taped April 9, in the university's Curb Event Center, will be broadcast on WSMV at 7 p.m., April 23. Best of the Best features student performers who won Belmont University’s showcase series performing original music from their genre of music, including Bluegrass, Christian, Pop/Rock, Country, Urban and a Writers in the Round series.
Belmont's musical celebrity alumni include such names as Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack, Josh Turner, Julie Roberts and past Best of the Best performer Brad Paisley. Here are some photographers of the Showcase winners.
