12th Annual Vince Gill Celebrity Basketball Game, Concert Set
The 12th annual Vince Gill Celebrity Basketball Game and Concert is scheduled for Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Curb Event Center. The event is an annual scholarship fundraiser sponsored by the Belmont University Athletics department and College of Music Business.
The game starts with friendly basketball competition between a variety of Nashville music stars – previous years have seen Amy Grant, Deana Carter, Chalee Tennison, Jo Dee Messina, Terri Clark, Leeann Womack, Vince Gill, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Mark Wills, Bryan White, the members of Diamond Rio, Phil Vassar, Kenny Chesney, Steve Wariner, Steve Azar, and other current recording artists competing.
After the games, Vince and his musical friends perform an acoustic concert.
The event is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m., with doors open at 5:30 p.m.
