Belmont Names Curb Event Coordinator
Belmont University announces that Melissa K. Bowers has been named Event Coordinator for the Curb Event Center, Curb Cafe, and Maddox Grand Atrium.
Melissa worked in the Auxiliary Services Department as a booking specialist for campus wide events before joining the Curb Center. A native of Dickson, Tennessee, she has been employed by Belmont for almost ten years.
The Curb Event Center, a 5,000-seat entertainment and athletic venue, will provide the university with a venue for various types of activities including athletic events as well as a variety of student and community events. In addition to being the new home court for the Belmont Bruins NCAA Division I basketball and volleyball teams, the center will feature state-of-the-art concert facilities. The center will be completed for the 2003 fall semester.
