This summer has been great so far. I have gotten to do so many awesome things. I have traveled to Detroit and Omaha and still have Cashiers, North Carolina and Los Angeles, California to visit before the summer is up. What exactly have I been up to?
I am sunburnt on my face and back pretty bad. Baseball is over, life must go on. I watched a movie in my friend’s mansion house in his own movie theatre last night. What else? Here it goes……
School is almost done but baseball is hopefully far from over. We still play a few weeks after school is out. Pretty awesome. As I sit here and write this blog, I have 2 more finals to go. I should be studying but it is good to get away from the books and take a break every once in a while. It is that time of year where everyone around Belmont is packing, studying, and getting ready for summer. I am extremely excited. It’s going to be a great summer.
I cannot believe this year is almost over. It seems like just yesterday I was applying for Belmont and now summer is in our midst. I have had a great year. I’d like to recap a few things that I have got to experience and be a part of thus far.
Being 11 hours away from home and spending Easter and Spring break here in Nashville can be a scary and lonely experience. Good thing I have great friends.
The summer of 2007. Let me take you there. I was 21 years old, unemployed and living at home with my parents, had already been to two colleges, not taking classes at the moment, extremely unsure about my future, and then I did what any normal 21 year old would do, I got a dog.
