This year for the Super Bowl Maddox, Wright, and Kennedy Hall staff got together and put on a huge party! We had popcorn, nachos, chips, chili, bbq chicken, hot dogs, brownies, etc, etc, etc. Aside from the delicious food, we enjoyed stadium style seating and a HUGE TV screen on which to watch the game... and the commercials (my favorite part). Despite the fact that I'm not much of a football fan and that "my team" is the Denver Broncos, it was really very fun. It's interesting to see how close everyone has become and the great friendships that have formed among the freshman of Maddox, Wright, and Kennedy.

For a moment I thought back to move-in day where only a handful of people knew other students. Fast forward to last night, looking at everyone, one would think these people have been friends forever. It really made me realize what a special place Belmont truly is. Here are dozens of people from completely different backgrounds, interests, majors, etc who have bonded BECAUSE of their differences and truly appreciate one another for them. It was awesome... and so much more than just a football game :)
