Family Time!
So, this past week was Thanksgiving break and it was pretty awesome. Not only did I get a good amount of homework done, but I also saw so many family members I hadn't seen in a while, laughed very very hard, and ate great food. Here's a silly picture with me and 3 out of my 5 siblings acting a fool, but it was loads of fun:
I really enjoyed going to Arkansas and staying at my Grandma's house. It's kind of beginning to be a family tradition and I'm really glad about that. Aside from me, my parents, and 4 of my siblings, my aunt and her two daughters and son and my uncle and his wife stayed with my grandma so it was a packed house. Plus, the day after thanksgiving a ton of people I'd never met before came over and the Saturday after thanksgiving we had a fish fry which was fantastic. My grandma makes the best fried catfish.
Mmm. I'm starting to think about all that food again.
Well, school's getting crazy and I've got two large papers due on tuesday, but after that I've got Dead Day (aka. Academic Preparation Day) and more time to hang out with friends and final to study for. I'm really looking forward to my friend Julianne coming to visit me over Christmas break. That should be really fun. Other than that I'm looking forward to lots of reading since by now, as an English major, I've learned to get a little head start on my reading for my English classes goes a long way. Thank goodness I started Atonement over the summer or I might never have gotten through it.
