There's only ONE Tree Hill

Almost two weeks into the semester and I’m in desperate need of a nap! I’m loving my schedule so far though. I decided to reduce my hours this semester and I’m already so glad that I did! My favorite class this semester is probably Acting for the Camera. I absolutely love it! It’s helping me develop myself as an actress and I’m really excited to see the progress over the next few months!

I’m also starting to get a lot better at piano! I used to think I was a lost cause when it came to reading music, but it’s becoming second nature to me! I’m so proud of myself. I’ve also been attempting to teach myself how to play guitar. I can successfully tune my guitar by ear without breaking a string every time! Believe me, that is quite the accomplishment for me!

Tuesday was a very sad day. It was a very morbid day which ended up reflecting an event that came as a surprise to so many people. I was in my ensemble, Pops, when I heard that Heath Ledger had died. I could not believe it! He was such a talented young man and it’s sad to think of all the movies we won’t be able to see him in. I feel so sorry for his family and friends. It’s always so sad to see someone lose a life at such a young age. He was only 28. He had so much more to accomplish. I really believe that our generation has lost a great talent.

In lighter news, I’ve been watching a lot of old One Tree Hill episodes. I’ve already finished Season 1 and I’m halfway through with Season 2. It’s quite addicting. It’s so great to watch that show because it makes me forget any of my problems. It honestly makes you think that your life is completely normal and boring when you watch what these kids are going through! Ha ha.

Anyway, I have to go practice piano and then get going to class pretty soon!
