Isn't Everything?

I’m going to make a difference. At least a difference in my own life. So far, 2008 has definitely been quite satisfying and rewarding. It is not what I expected. But instead, it is so much more. All of the insecurities of wondering what the beginning of this year would hold were washed away like a tide set against a yellow-and-orange painted sunset sky. Lately, I am extremely thankful for the changes that God has been making in my life. For starters, my friends basically rock. And secondly, this semester is turning out to be quite fun! (Despite the homework.)

In terms of this semester, I am enrolled in two different music business classes: Artist Management and Public Relations in the Music Industry. Both classes exude a spark of energy and are very influential in terms of building the foundation of music industry knowledge. Right now, I am taking a break from interning because I specifically want to concentrate on classes and my position as a Resident Assistant. However, I miss the music business environment and cannot wait to saddle on for another one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities this coming summer.

For the weekend, I believe that I am definitely going to relax. This four day week has inevitably been a blessing due to the Martin Luther King holiday. There will not be anything too out of the ordinary taking place on campus. I might find some time to do a little photography because I have not had too much time for that lately. As far as I know, I am looking forward to getting coffee with my friend Laura and our former 3rd year writing English professor at Bongo Java on Friday. That should definitely be rock-awesome. Well..I mean…isn’t everything?
