Spooky Season

Today is Halloween. I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by. This past week has been manic – and at the same time – very exciting! I recently found out that I will be taking on the role as a Resident Assistant in the Bruin Hills apartment complex on campus. To say the least, I cannot wait to begin this new journey that the Lord has set forth for me.
This past weekend, a few friends and I took a scary leap by going through one of the most terrifying haunted houses in the heart of Nashville. Personally, I am definitely positive that my heart rate sky-rocketed many times throughout the haunted adventure! I am quite sure that I now have had my “Halloween fix” for a season that is encompassed by glowing jack-o-lanterns and the delectable taste of many treats.
Retrospectively, this semester is surrounded by an abundance of change. With that said, I am so happy where the Lord has led me thus far in my collegiate journey. The growing depth of my relationships with friends and family has ignited a spark. A flickering spark which will enable me to create an impact on those in ways I never dreamed of. I guess this is what college is all about? Well for me, it has definitely been rock-awesome. End of story.
