I’m finally back at Belmont and I couldn’t be more excited! It took me forever to move into my dorm because I am in the process of recording my demo, so I gradually started the process of moving in on Saturday morning before going to the studio and then finished moving in by Monday night. I love my roommate! Her name is Tori and she is one of the sweetest, most down to earth people and I’m excited to live with her this year! Wednesday was the start of classes, which I hope went well for all the new freshmen and transfer students! I know it can all be a lot to grasp when first coming to a new campus and lifestyle.
My day on Wednesday started at 9:00am. I woke up, worked out, got ready for class, went to class, caught up with friends between classes, then got finished with my last class at 6:00pm…and THEN hung out with friends for a while. The next day, I had an 8:30am dance class and then my last class was over by around 5:00pm. About 20 minutes after class, I was on my way back to the studio to work on more things for my demo. I didn’t get out of there until almost 1:00 in the morning. It’ll be interesting to see how “alive” I am in my classes tomorrow! Ha ha. Luckily, Friday’s are my easy days and I only have 2 classes in the early afternoon. That should be nice! The next month or so of school is going to so hectic! With recording, homework, fall recruitment, and hanging out with friends, I know that I’ll be staying busy! Good thing I enjoy being busy or else I’d be in bad shape, I guess!
I think I’m going to Auburn next weekend to go to the football game!! I’m pretty pumped about that! I ALMOST went to Auburn and then, of course, I changed my mind! That should be a nice little adventure for Labor Day Weekend! We’ll see if I actually end up going. I could use a short vacation with all the business in my life right now!
I’m really excited about sorority recruitment!! This is the first time that I get to be on this side of recruitment! I’m excited to meet all the new girls who want to join my sisters and me in Phi Mu!
