I've been a traveler

The last night that I was in New Orleans, I went to the Essence Music Festival!! I got to see CHRIS BROWN!!! ANDDDDD BEYONCE!!! They were absolutely incredible! Chris Brown is such a great performer and he is probably the best dancer I've ever seen..he's amazing!! We all know what to expect from Beyonce, the Diva herself! She, of course put on a great show! Chris put on a concert that was a little more than an hour. He even had Bow Wow come out at one point so they could do their song "Shortie Like Mine." Chris also did a Michael Jackson act where he had on a red jacket just like the one Michael wore in the "Thriller" video. Now when I say that Chris Brown had every single move down, I don't mean that hardly...he was move-for-move Michael Jackson! So impressive! He could honestly dance, moonwalk, etc BETTER than Michael Jackson!! Who would of thought?! Beyonce turned it out! That's all I can say about her! Comedian Steve Harvey came out to the stage before and after each act to entertain. He's hilarious!!!

After 3 days in New Orleans, my family and I started to make our way back to Nashville, making a few stops along the way. First, we stopped through to Mobile, AL. We were eating lunch and in walks in this blonde girl with big sunglasses on...I thought to myself "oh my! she looks JUST like Trichelle from Real World Las Vegas!" I was right..it was her. I didn't feel like talking to her though. What was I going to say? "Hi Trichelle! Las Vegas was the only season of Real World I actually watched all the way through???" So, to avoid unnecessary and awkward conversation, I just left! Next stop was Montgomery, AL. My family from way back is actually from that area, so my dad wanted to go check it out! While we were there, we drove to Dexter Avenue to see the church where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. used to preach. To stand on those steps was incredible. We arrived at home late that night after a very long drive!

In recent news, I was babysitting yesterday when I got a call from my good friend Paige, who did all my wardrobe for Miss TN. She asked me to pack my bags and fly out to Chicago for a photo shoot..I had to leave that night! At 5pm, I was babysitting. Three hours later, I was on a plane to Chicago! Quite eventful! I had a short break between trying on a billion dresses, so I thought I'd give you all in Internet Land an update! Now I have to go back and play Barbie!!!
