Home

Wow. I cannot believe that it is already the end of July. Last night around 11 p.m. – I flew into the Central Wisconsin Airport. I am currently spending a few days at home as a short “break” from summer classes and interning. So far – it is a knock-you-off-the-seat-of-your-pants good time.
This morning…I slept in until 10:30 a.m. I do not remember sleeping in that late since summer has begun! Pretty crazy, huh? It is such a great feeling to relax in the comforts of home. Especially in the north woods of Wisconsin!
Today, I went to a local “drive-in” for lunch with a friend. As for tonight, my mom and I visited my uncle Jeff, my aunt Sara, and my cousins Jake and Katie. We chilled and caught up on life for close to three hours. It’s amazing how quickly time passes – and for that matter – how much there is to talk about when I have not been home since March! As for now…I am soaking in the once-in-a-lifetime summer experience with family…old-friends…and the irreplaceable happiness of the Lord’s presence.
In terms of music, I have been listening to an eclectic group of recording artists. Lately – I’ve accustomed myself to the innovative styles of: Colbie Caillat and The Weepies. I strongly recommend these two artists, as they are extremely blessed with talented songwriting skills and a splash of creative musical energy. I recently purchased Colbie Caillat’s album, Coco. To be honest…the album is one of the most amazing albums in which I have heard in a very long time. I absolutely dig her music. It is rock-awesome. End of story. I’m off to sleep. I have to get some shut-eye (and even in my own bed!). Night!!
