Summertime in Nashvilletown!

First and foremost, I would like to simply express that the Lord is so phenomenal. He works in such great ways and I am shown by his miraculous ways each and everyday of my life. He has blessed me with so many great friends, both here in Music City USA as well as back home. Well, summer has definitely begun with a visit from family, a spectacular Memorial Day weekend, and a couple of great nights spent with my friends.
This past weekend, I traveled two hours east of Nashville to visit one of my best friends and her family. The accompaniment of the nicest people a person will ever meet, delicious home cooking, and a visit to Cumberland State Park made for a great weekend! It’s a shame that the weekends speed by so quickly! Nonetheless, a rock-awesome time is always in the picture when it comes to my weekends. I never settle for less!
I have begun my internship with Big Machine Records: Home to Taylor Swift, Jack Ingram, and recently signed, Trisha Yearwood. I am so blessed to be able to partake in an internship at one of the hottest labels on music row! And with that said, I cannot wait to see where the Lord will take me as I tackle this incredible adventure.
This week will be somewhat hectic as it is the beginning of classes. Personally, it will take some adjusting to get used to the school “thing” again. I am positive that it will be somewhat challenging as I will be taking Third-Year Writing and International Business. I know that the Lord will motivate me with His strength and the willingness to suceed in this collegiate summer setting. (With hope, that I do not get too distracted with various summer activities.) Click here to check out a variety of majors that Belmont University offers. This university (along with my friends, my professors, and my continual growth with the Lord) has taken me farther than I have ever been in my entire life. Overall, I definitely recommend this school. End of story.
