S.O.S. (Same Ol' Summer)
Well, nothing much has changed for me since classes ended. A couple of weeks ago, I got a new job working about 15 minutes outside of Nashville. So far it seems okay, but it is just really busy all the time. I really appreciate this job because it forces me to multi-task and keep up several procedures. I do everything from take deliveries and stock food to waiting and serving tables. Don't get me wrong, the job isn't bad at all, but I am really lazy. See, working and Josh Homer don't really go together... it's more like an acquired taste. The more I work and get used to it, it starts to make more sense and go together.

But on another note, I am really missing the dorms right about now. I really took it for granted being able to go down the hallway and hang out in a friend's room. Now, I moved into an apartment, and it's just me and my roommate. I just can't walk into someone's apartment like in the dorms. That's just wrong. I have talked to a few of the guys since everyone moved back home, such as my old roommate. He and several of his friends came by to hang out and play some XBOX 360. Well, they tried to play, but they must have forgotten that....I AM THE BEST! When I say this I mean on pretty much any game, I don't lose very often.
Also, I can now say that I am a Junior. Well, not really by credit hours until after the fall semester, but I am starting early to get used to it. This is crazy because my little sister just graduated from high school yesterday, and one of my good friends graduated from here (Belmont). It hasn't really set in yet but, I only have two more years to go before I am in the real world.
Okay, on a happier note. The grades for the spring 2007 semester came in, and they were WAY better than expected. If you remember from earlier, I had the 5 exams crammed into 2 days. This shows that if I can come out of that with good grades, then anything is possible.
To Melinda, I hope she has a great career in the music industry. She has a bright future, and will be known more than "that girl on American Idol." We all are proud of Melinda....She represented Belmont very well.
