Old Friends, Food, and Frogs!
This week has been pretty eventful! I was in Chattanooga for a couple weeks and then came home to Franklin to spend some time with my family, work out, see friends, etc. On Sunday, I was at Green Hills Mall in Nashville in the David Kidd bookstore and who do I see?! Tyler Hilton!! He' a singer/songwriter and he played Chris Keller on "One Tree Hill." He also played my boyfriend on Taylor Swift's video "Teardrops On My Guitar." I hadn't seen him since January when we filmed the video; I didn't expect to see him at the mall!! It was great seeing him again! You can catch him in the upcoming movie "Charlie Bartlett" which will be out this fall.

After running into Tyler, I went to a pool party/barbeque at my family friends' house. I used to baby-sit their son who, ironically, is also named Tucker...that was confusing the first couple weeks of knowing him! While at their house, I ate wonderful Memorial Day food, sang for everyone (my mom always makes me sing everywhere I go, it’s the price I pay for being a music major... haha. I enjoy it, of course!!), and even found a frog!!! My parents told me that if I kissed it, it might become a prince, but I decided to go with my better judgment and NOT kiss the frog. :-) I stayed at the pool party until around 8 and then went over to Ellen's house. She's a friend of mine from high school who I hadn't seen for a few months. It was fun seeing her and her family!
