Exams and such

This semester is finally coming to a close and I've found myself trying to figure out how to feel about this bittersweet time. These last few months, I have made so many amazing memories and friends that I can honestly say I'll never forget. I never thought the day that I came to Belmont this January that I'd fall in love with the campus and the people that make it such a wonderful place.

Everyone is leaving next week! We're all going back to the place that we call home to start our plans for the summer. I've made new friends from all over the country and now I have to say goodbye until we come back in the fall. I've known that this day was coming, but I didn't think it would sneak up on me so fast!!! I have a lot going on this summer that I'm excited about. From participating to a scholarship program this June to just being lazy by the pool, I still can't help but wish the "college" aspect of this semester wasn't over. I'm not used to missing school. This is definitely a first for me. It will be very nice to get break from the responsibilities of school for a while, but I will miss everyone so much!!

I've already made plans with many of my new friends to visit each other over the summer, so I'm really happy about that! Belmont has been such a blessing for me. These last few months, I've laughed, I've cried, I've made new friends, found out that sometimes you grow apart from the friends you had in high school, learned what it was like to live on my own, etc. It still amazes me that I call Belmont my home. I never ever thought that would happen, but it did. On Dead Day, there aren't any classes so students can study for finals, pack up their belongings, or hang out with friends. Dead Day was on Wednesday and the school put on a carnival for us on the soccer field!

Also, the Belmont baseball team is in Georgia this weekend playing a tournament! Good luck Bruins!

I have two more finals next week and then I'm done for the summer! I hope everyone has a great summer!
