CMT Awards!
The CMT Awards came to Belmont Monday night and I am proud to say that I was there to witness them. In the front row, right next to the presenters to be precise. I am obsessive with country music, so the whole situation was a dream come true to me.
I was with awesome friends (as you can see in the picture), listening to amazing music, and standing literally three feet away from some of my favorite musicians ever! We even got to shake hands with a bunch of the presenters and performers! It was an awesome experience, and worth every one of those six hours waiting in line to get in.
On a more serious note, Monday was also a day of great tragedy. What happened at Virginia Tech is still hard for me to fathom. My heart goes out to all of those people affected by it.
The year here at Belmont is almost over. Being from New York, I am not used to the school year ending until very late June, so the idea of finals in a week and a half is so exciting! I can not wait for summer, but before I get there, my papers need to be finished. Procrastination has yet again caused me to wait for the last moments to do all of my work. So although in about two weeks I will be officially done with my first year of college, it will be a very long two weeks. Here at Belmont, there is a Writing Center to help you with your writing. I plan on taking advantage of this service to ensure that my papers are the best that they can be. Off I go to work on those papers like a good college student!
