Wow. Spring break is pretty much already over. Where did all the time go? Between going to California for a forensics competition, flying back home, hanging out with my family, boyfriend, and friends, this week has flown by.

One of the best parts of the week was the debate tournament. My partner Meghan and I made it to the quarter finals in the novice division for debate, which we were very happy with. Our team on a whole came in third place for the entire competition which was an amazing feat, being that there were teams with many more people than us there as well. And there is no doubt that Belmont Forensics had the most fun of anybody there. We all met some new friends from all around the nation, enjoyed the gorgeous 80 degree and sunny southern California weather, and just had fun as a team. Forensics is truly my family down at Belmont, and I don’t know how I am going to go through the summer without seeing them every week.
Another huge happening going on at Belmont right now is the Men’s Basketball team making it to the NCAA March Madness! We are all so happy for them, and I can’t wait to watch them on ESPN. I missed them playing ETSU because I was in California, but I plan on watching them play in the next round. Most likely while I work on one of my four papers that are due in the next two weeks. Oh well. It will all get done…somehow. But now I am off to have some more fun during spring break-go shopping with my best friend! Unfortunately here in New York, one must first deal with the 23 degree weather to get into the warm mall, but that is ok. Because who doesn’t like shopping, especially with their best friend?
