Okay, Where is the warm weather?
Originally, I'm from Houston and in Texas extreme cold weather is mid-60s maybe even 50s in a bad year. But on the other hand, in the summer time it can get up to 120 sometimes down in Texas. See, here in Nashville the weather can't make up it's mind. One day is freezing cold and windy, then a couple days later it will be warm enough to wear shorts and flip-flops. I just wish that the spring/summer time would get here already. When it is cold like it is now, the whole mood on campus is different. Things like getting up and walking to class or hanging out with a few friends seem so much better in the warmer weather. Dare I say it, but I kind of miss everybody throwing frisbees and footballs in the quad.
These past couple of weeks there have been a couple of warm days to get everyone excited, then it gets right back cold the next day. I know it's coming soon because spring break is just a week away. YES! That means that it is officially "feel-good season." One, because there will be no school for a week. Two, I can catch up with some old friends back from high school. Last but not least, I finally get to go back to Florida for Spring Break. A lot of my friends are going on mission trips to places like New Orleans and Mexico during their spring break.
The only downfall about "feel-good season" is that I have to start actually going to the gym to workout. Also, all these mid-terms and finals are right around the corner. UUGH! And who wants to study when you could be doing much better things wasting your time like playing outside and taking random road trips... just kidding. Well, about the part about road trips anyway.
