Wow. Today has definitely been one of the most relaxing Saturday’s throughout this entire semester! This morning, I woke up feeling quite refreshed! To my surprise, I noticed a light blanket of snow on the ground. As a result, I thought that it would be fun to go take a walk outside. Without a doubt, the walk definitely woke me up, but more importantly, made me realize that it’s the small things in life that matter most!

Around 1p.m., my friends and I treated ourselves to a delectable lunch at the historic Loveless Café. The restaurant was quite packed, however it was definitely worth the thirty-minute wait! The home cooked food at the Loveless Café is probably one of the best meals that I have had in Nashville thus far. In addition, the accompaniment of two great friends also made for a great Saturday.

I’m going to get some well-needed rest tonight by going to sleep early! The upcoming week will include many exciting events such as a CMT Crossroads taping, a visit from a family friend, my friend, Jody’s, 19th birthday, as well as National Recreational Sports and Fitness day. National Recreational Sports and Fitness Day will be held February 21, 2007 in the Beaman Student Life Center. This exciting day will consist of events such as a Nashville Predators Meet and Greet, a Dance Dance Revolution Tournament, a Polar Bear 5K run/walk, and a Cardio Extreme session (just to name a few!). I will definitely be attending this extravagant fitness event held right here at Belmont! Totally rock-awesome.
