Back to the college life...
Wow. All I can say is that it is definitely GREAT to be back. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas break! It is always great to return home to spend the time with the ones I love. Afterall, there’s no place like home…! Without a doubt, being away from home for one entire semester made me appreciate my family even more, and by extension, the simplistic comforts of home that we sometimes take for granted.
On January 1st, 2007, I woke up feeling refreshed, re-energized, and quite optimistic about the new year! I believe that it will most definitely be a wonderful year. It’s been great to begin a new semester here at Belmont University. The moment I stepped off the plane, I could not wait to return to the place I call home.
In terms of current events, the Battle of the Boulevard takes place tomorrow night! I’m so excited for the game against Lipscomb University. I am anticipating tomorrow night’s game due to the fact that there will over 1,000 of Belmont’s students in attendance! If that is not rock-awesome, then I do not know what is! I am so pumped!
