Bye Bye Belmont!
I’m so thankful to God that this last week of finals is finally over. The freedom I felt after finishing my last class filled my whole body. I wanted to jump and scream. My first semester of college is done, complete, over. I can hardly believe how much I’ve grown as a person and as a Christian this semester. And now Christmas break is upon us. Almost a month at home and I am so excited.
But beneath that excitement there is a tinge of sadness as I say goodbye to some of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the privilege of getting to know. I thank God so much for the way he has blessed me this semester with awesome friends who keep me strong in his words and at times when I’m homesick or feeling down, friends who laugh with me and cry with me. During this season I guess it is always good to reflect on the gifts God has so graciously given us and my first semester at Belmont definitely falls into that category. Merry Christmas to all!
