Adios 2006...

It's difficult to believe that December is already here. This semester has gone by sooo fast! So what has been happening lately? Well, yesterday it was seventy eight degrees outside and today its an astonishing thirty four degrees. The high all weekend does not reach above forty and I'm sure the week after will probably be back in the seventies. You learn to appreciate consistant climates when you live here, but hey, it's a new experience.... and I promise it's never really that bad.

So speaking of living here, dorm life is pretty important for every college freshman. Freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus here at Belmont. I live in a dorm with three floors of girls called Wright Hall. I thought it'd be helpful to see a picture of an average room at Belmont, so you should feel special! Here's your inside look into MY room! room.jpg
Granted, it is definitely not that clean anymore, but at least you get the idea. What is missing from the picture is a huge closet that I happen to have and a sink/vanity area. The rooms here at Belmont are spacious and all of my friends from home that attend other schools are very jealous of my accomodations. I began the semester with a roommate whose side of the room was practically a mirror image of my own. However, she had to leave mid semester so now I have this massive room all to myself. I like it because I turned her bed into a couch area and all the girls on my hall come in here to watch "Gray's Anatomy" and our other favorites. All in all, if you live on campus at Belmont, you have it really good. Until next time... I'll try and stay warm and let you know whats happening on this front. 'Christmas at Belmont' is this weekend... I can't wait!
