Life is "rock-awesome."

An anonymous author once stated, “There are two ways to look at life. One is as though nothing is a miracle; the other is as though everything is." On Tues., November 6, I attended the 40th annual Country Music Awards (CMAs). With a spark of luck, I was selected to work the CMAs with Belmont’s Service Corps organization.

Service Corps is an on-campus organization which is specifically designed for students enrolled in the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business. As a member of Service Corps, I have been extremely fortunate to acquire “hands-on” experience within the music industry. Click here to learn more about this “rock-awesome” organization!

Over the past few days, the amount of homework has excessively increased. However, my determination to earn a degree in Music Business has enabled me to effectively complete the plethora of assignments in a timely manner. Most importantly, the Lord God continues to shine down on me, which fortunately, brings out the best in who I am as an individual!

Personally, I cannot believe that next week is already the Thanksgiving holiday! I am spending the Thanksgiving weekend with a friend and her family. Without a doubt, the holiday week will be quite different due to the fact that I will not be spending it with my parents. As a whole, I am definitely ready to indulge in the tastes of spectacular home cooking! Until next time...have a great Thanksgiving and be sure to get your fullfillment of family, friends, and last but not least, the delectable food.
