Endless Opportunities!
Wow! I honestly cannot believe that it is already the month of October! Without a doubt, my collegiate experience at Belmont University thus far has definitely been one amazing rollercoaster ride. Tonight (Thurs., Oct. 5), a few friends and I had the privilege of attending an "invitation-only" LIVE taping of CMT Crossroads. The set of CMT Crossroads featured renowned recording artist, Lindsey Buckingham (former member of Fleetwood Mac), and talented country group, Little Big Town.
The audience attendance and exhilaration for both artists was quite overwhelming. My body's energy is completely drained from the high-energy performances of "Boondocks," "Bring It on Home," and Fleetwood Mac's hit, "Go Your Own Way." Since I have arrived at Belmont, I have been given an endless amount of opportunities to experience the music industry firsthand. Below is a photo of my friends and I at the event!

In terms of the dorm situation, my roommate and I have established a great friendship. My roommate Luke has a great sense of humor and always tends to keep my life interesting. Luke and I reside in Kennedy Hall, one of the many nice residence facilities located on Belmont's campus. In general, Kennedy Hall has become not only a residence facility, but more importantly, my new home.
In relation to Kennedy Hall, there is a bible study which takes place every Monday night at 9:00p.m. As a Catholic, the bible study has enabled me to form a closer relationship with the Lord. In addition, the bible study has also helped me form friendships with my fellow peers. Moreover, the RA's organized a dinner at the San Antonio Taco Co. (SatCo) for all the residents on the 3rd floor of Kennedy. Altogether, these fun and inviting events encourage individuals to get to know each other in a comfortable environment.
