Theme: Musical "Grease" Summer Fun

This is what you have been waiting for all year! The Belmont Staff Affairs Pizza/Bakeoff contest is officially ready to launch next Thursday the 18th. So, dust off your best dessert recipie (baked or non-baked) and get ready to rumble. There will be pizza and sodas for everyone. New this year we will have our "Getting to Know You" contest where you have to guess which of your fellow staff mates did in a past life (so to speak). It will be fun. Also, you will get to vote in new Staff Affairs Council members to keep the fire alive next year for 2006-2007. If you want to serve or nominate contact April Lyons.
So, please mark your calendar and reserve some time to hang out in the Curb Cafe next week.

Schedule as follows:

10 am Dessert entries need to be dropped off
10:30 Dessert Judges need to be there to sample
11am Pizza Delivered
11:30 Staff line up to start eating etc.
Noon- "Getting to Know You" Contestants line up and we have the contest
12:45 Announce Bake-off winners as well as the Contest
1:00-1:30 cleanup

Staff Affairs needs you to join us

We are taking nominations for staff who want to join the Staff Affairs Council for 2006-2007. Please forward your name or someone you know to April Lyons. Our last Staff Affairs event will be Thursday, noon, May 18th at Curb Cafe. We hope to duplicate last year's pizza extravaganza and dessert bake-off....so mark your calendars now. More details to follow.
