The first day in Rio has already been an amazing experience. Before I left BW told me by the end of our trip I would feel a huge change in my life. I was slightly skeptical. However, at the end of day one I feel a gigantic rush in my heart. Looking into children’s eyes at schools, taking in incredible sites, and already wishing I could be in Brazil for more than ten days. I recently graduated from Belmont with my master’s degree. I can tell you that in my six years at Belmont this has been my greatest educational experience. Our world is connected in many ways, and being here in Brazil demonstrates that relationship. I am truly blessed to have Jesus Christ in my life, and blessed to be apart of such a wonderful involving experience.
