Activities Day 4

day3.2.jpgBom Dia!!! (Good Morning!!!) The past three days has been amazing to witness. The girls are doing awesome, having fun, learning Portuguese, winning kids and adults over to Christ. It is truly amazing to see the interaction between everyone with our girls. There are no words to express to you on what we are witnessing. Each time the girls get up to speak, everyone is hanging on every word. Everything that I have witnessed so far, I know that God is with us.

Romans 8:31 "....If God is for us, who can be against us?"

day3.3.jpgToday the team will be playing in an outdoor tournament on the beach. The goal is when people stop to watch the tournament play, that we can tell them about Christ and invite to church. We look forward to spread the word of Christ to people we come in contact with on the beach. After the tournament, we will then take a little rest and get ready to go to the American School.

day3.4.jpgLast night the Ladies played a very competitive team. We played a full 5 games. The match went back and forth for a very long time. It ended up that we both had two wins and it came down to the final game. Our girls came out strong and took a 5 point lead. Hang on!! The Brazilians did not give up. They came back to tie the game. The game then went point for point to 12, then our girls received their second wind and was able to overcome. After the match, we began our ministry!! However, who knew that while we were playing we were ministering to those young ladies, to the people in the stands, and the coach. They were amazed in how we constantly had a smile on our faces, calling our own errors (nets, touches, etc.). We had earned a lot of respect. We presented the team with towels with John 3:16 embroidered on it in Portuguese, and presented the Coach with an NCAA Game ball (with our signatures). Everything was well received to where the word spread about our message. Brittany and Deane were witnessing to a soccer player who wanted to hear the message. Just AMAZING!!!! God is Amazing!!!

You guys are having such a huge impact on those kids there. Consider keeping a journal if you haven't already. I've still got mine from 10 years ago when we were in Poland and it's fun to relive the experience and reflect on all the different people you are meeting and witnessing to. Keep up the great work!! We're praying for you.

Truly amazing but then God always is when it's all about Him! Thanks for such wonderful journal entries.
May God lead you even further than you might have thought He would.
Prayers daily!

Mathew 9:37
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few".
It is so awesome to see how God is using your wonderful team to further his kingdom. I pray his continued hand on you all during this trip and for the rest of your lives.
