The Race to the White House Runs Through Belmont
As I type these lines, the campus outside my window is covered in red, white, and blue and crisscrossed with temporary barricades, checkpoints, and volunteers rushing to and fro. It’s the day of the Presidential Town Hall Debate, and Belmont is welcoming the world. It is an historic moment and a great time to be a Bruin!
Even as the campaigns and media members pack their bags later this week, we will be preparing for the next batch of VIPs (Very Important Parents) to hit campus on October 31st for Parents & Family Weekend.
As a Belmont Parent, you can choose from several levels of connection to the university community. For free, you can become a member of the BU Parent Network, an online community, exclusively for Belmont Parents that will connect you with parents from around the country and the world.
Alternatively, you can join the BU Parents’ Association. Association members, enjoy access to the Parent Network, in addition to other special offers and opportunities including 2 complimentary tickets to Parent Weekend events. Association members’ annual fee of $150 supports parent programming and scholarships for new students.
You may wish to join the President’s Council; this highest level of parent engagement offers members the benefits of the Parents’ Association plus special invitation to VIP events with Senior Leadership.
If you have not joined the Parent Network, the Parents’ Association, or the President’s Council please consider doing so here.
After doing so, make plans to join your son or daughter for a wonderful fall weekend at Belmont. Register for Parent & Family Weekend events here.
We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
