OFF THE RECORD W/SHELBY KENNEDY
Off the Record with Shelby Kennedy--Sr. VP/COO Cherry Heart Music THIS Friday 10/2 at 10am.
This year, even in the midst of our growth, we want to continue to provide smaller setting opportunities for our students. The Curb College & the Office of Alumni Relations are teaming up to provide our students with an opportunity to participate in in-depth, extremely personalized conversations with professionals directly involved in the entertainment industry here in Nashville. Little is considered "off topic" and the conversation takes whatever shape you give it. (10-12 students at each session)
Shelby served as a key A&R man for Lyric Street records, directing the likes of Aaron Tippon, Rascal Flatts and SheDaisy, and later represented Writer Relations at BMI. His credentials also include several years as a song plugger and numerous production, songwriting and studio background vocalist credits. An accomplished songwriter, Kennedy received an ASCAP Most Performed Country Song Award for writing and publishing Reba’s hit song, “I’m A Survivor.” Shelby now serves as Sr. VP/COO of Cherry Heart Music.
If you receive an email confirmation back, that means you are confirmed. If you do not receive something back, then the spaces are full. RSVP to sarah.cates@belmont.edu.
